IT began in 2004, as a side solo project. At the time Nokturnous was doing vocals for a local black/death metal band called Nunwhore Butchery. Nokturnous had runs his course with the band and began recording on his own. IT became a vent for depression, frustration and raw hate! The idea of IT was to create music in the vein of BURZUM, Mayhem, Darkthrone. To make music that is so sick, and so unlistenable was to be the main goal. As well IT will not and never will be a band that performs live! Nokturnous will forever remain IT, as IT will remain Nokturnous! |
